Sorry for the downtime,

The Matrix is now back online and running on the new virtual server. It did take a little work to get the email activation working through a virtual machine but it seems to be behaving itself now.

To be honest, virtualization is the way to go (although I think everyone knew that already..)

Having seperate servers running chews power and also man-hours in fixing hardware that really, doesn't need to be operating at all. Now, all G2D servers are running in a virtual environment (including Silverthorn, which is back online also)

Besides being easier to manage, remote access from mobile devices is easier (so you can control your G2D Server from your iphone or ipad/Android based device)

For those that have not done so, I recommend downloading teamviewer quick support, which is like a cut down version that works well with the teamview App. You can also use RDP apps but we recommend Teamview for ease of use (and it's free for personal use)

So, sorry about the Matrix downtime again but we are back on track now.

regards,

Devo.

Hey Devo, do we have access to Silverthorn? I've been wanting to check it out, but never saw a client download or anything. Also,  this Teamviewer quick support allows for server control from my phone?

Those people that read the thread about Silverthorn and how to access it, can do so from the Silverthorn section of the forums.

The threads there, not really hard to find...
