Thanks for reading, as most of you know we had a 3.0 release as beta for donators, thanks to everybody involved and for helping us pinpoint those tricky bugs, but without you guys progress like this cannot be made, the more participation we get the faster we can roll this ball !
So lets move onto what has changed..

This is the major systems i have changed..

bad news is your current items will NOT be compatible unless i make a converter tool,

maps are COMPATIBLE, Spells are Compatible and NPCS are compatible.

Old Accounts will NOT work with this release, due to restructuring of the Accounts for Expansion Packs, this is a 1 time ordeal i try to avoid things from before working/not working but this is a direction we had to take as players and developers.

Some changes Server Side in the Data.ini

PREMIUM_CURRENCY_NAME=TOKEN
CUSTOM_FRAME_SYSTEM=1

and in config.ini client side

CUSTOM_CONTROLS=1

eXpansion Pack Editor
Base Token Menu/items/expansions/character services

Token is the term used for a premium currency,
some games use these to buy services, but you can only get these tokens
from paying inrl via paypal, great for items, power hours, expansion packs etc.

TOKEN_NAME can be set in the Data.ini File !

Added ability to give players Tokens Server Side just like items,
Tokens is a Account Variable, NOT an ITEM.

Still love the Sig of yours Xaden. But damn man. So much has happened since I came along. Look at this now. So much stuff... Lol.It's remarkable you guys never hung yourselves from annoyance when these features spawned hellish bugs.

has a name and token/premium currency req, its its set to true on maps or items when trying to warp to or use the item, will popup a menu telling you that an expansion is required. buy the expansion, and you can use the item, or go to the map you want,

soon, just working out some minor things now (not bugs..) just added things.

ISO is working perfectly, but paperdoll currently is only 4 directions, so thats the big show stopper right now..  not hard just logistical nightmare.

Hmm we'll see..

There are a few issues that need working out, but they are not stopping the release.

Ok I'll lay it down.

We have ISO players working 100 percent, Xaden has fine tuned it perfectly, and
its just the bomb - the bomb. Im serious.. No limits people.. ive got a sprite here with 50 frames in it total.. it looks like Diablo II in G2D..  i can see several engines packing up and leaving after seeing this in envy..

Right now, players are the only thing that move in ISO mode. Thats the issue. When I say Issue I mean its not done yet - I mean ISO only just got implemented so it has a long way to go..


Why?

Think about how many things we have on a map that rely on the Up, Down, Left Right tile based system.

Now multiply that by 4, for every thing other than players. ie.. everything needs to traverse in 8 directions, not just the players.

* NPC's
Need to Walk, attack , fire spells and arrow and also be attacked Diagonally

*Pets
Need to do the same as above

* Treasure chests / Loot Packs
Need to detect players standing within diagonal ranges, not just N,E,S,W

* Any interactive tile that the player clicks on needs to detect the click from
a player standing diagonally to it...

* Block tiles need to account for diagonals, so npcs and players dont get stuck

And probably a few more things i cant thnk of right now.

So bottom line, the system is in, it just needs to be adapted... otherwise all features are working AS NORMAL and release will go ahead with everything that was mentioned..

Im working on that while xaden sorts out some more things in G2D 3.0, so perhaps we can all cheer on a concurrent release.

TBH im just about done, there is a feature of Moving platforms which we will add at a later stage, but for now it is a fully functioning side scrolling engine.. It has plans also, ie jumping npcs's and other things im working on, its fun.

So we'll see, im working my butt off right now, and its friday night... lol no rest for the wicked...
